Troop Calendar

Sync troop meetings, campouts, and events straight to your phone or personal calendar.

To keep our scouts’ schedules, locations, and details secure, our official calendar is private and hosted through Scoutbook Plus.

Syncing the troop calendar directly to your phone or personal calendar app takes less than two minutes. Once set up, any changes, meetings, or upcoming campouts will automatically show up on your personal device.

Follow these steps to subscribe:

Log In

Go to advancements.scouting.org and log in using your Scouting America credentials.

Access the Calendar

Click the Calendar icon in your dashboard or left-hand navigation menu.

Get Your Subscription Link

  • Find the Subscribe button (usually under the calendar view).
  • Click Subscribe for “Troop 45 Family” to generate your unique iCal URL.
  • Click Copy Link.

Add to Your Personal Calendar App

  • Google Calendar: Open Google Calendar on a desktop browser → click the “+” next to “Other calendars” → select From URL → paste the copied link → click Add calendar.
  • Apple Calendar (iOS/Mac): Open the Calendar app → select File (or Calendars on mobile) → select Add Calendar Subscription → paste the copied link → tap/click Subscribe.
  • Outlook: Open Outlook → go to the Calendar view → click Add Calendar → select Subscribe from web → paste the copied link → click Save.
Tip: You only need to complete this setup once. All future troop events and updates will sync automatically to your personal schedule at least daily!
